Our Ministry Education & Operations
Our faith is rooted deep in the Holy Word through private Bible study for many years and Rhema Bible classes from Kenneth Hagin Sr. , Charles Capps and Derek Prince Ministries. We have also served with Pastors Phil and Jannette Derstine in leading worship and prayer at the Christian Retreat & Family Church in Bradenton Florida. It was there we were ordained through Gospel Crusade Ministerial Fellowship GCMF with founders and Apostle Gerald and Beulah Derstine. Over the years we have attended and served at various Full Gospel Churches.
Our worship music ministry is known as Lilyband Psalmist and operates under Jesus Generation Church. We are based on Venice Island Florida operating a Ministry House Of Prayer And Worship lovingly called My Father’s Lighthouse. It is located on the beachfront of the Gulf of Mexico. Part of the vision is to minister from this house to the area peoples with evangelistic outreaches of various kinds ( many are already in motion ) while also continuing broadcasting to many Nations online and to provide a consecrated to the Lord worship and prayer space for intercessors that the Lord brings here to worship and pray in person.

Maurice & Carolyn Sklar
Sklar Ministries
Rabbi Maurice Sklar was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to a Russian-Jewish family with a rich musical heritage. Accepted at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City at the age of fifteen, Maurice subsequently won a scholarship to attend the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music at the age of sixteen, where he studied with the great violin teacher, Ivan Galamian.
They are wonderful friends of ours and love Israel and also steward a House Of Prayer overlooking the Sea Of Galilee.
Pastors Charles & Sandy Black
Abounding Grace Fellowship
Charles Black served in many areas of ministry for over 20 years and is now the pastor of Abounding Grace Fellowship in Venice, Florida.
Together with his wife, Sandy, he is committed to preaching the Good News of God’s Grace and His Son, Jesus Christ to all of Venice, Florida and the world.
Their hearts’ desire is that you know, above all else, that Jesus loves you no matter what, and He has made a way for you to get to Heaven.
Pastors Randy & Hope Burt
New Life Church (AOG)
Pastor Randy graduated in 1985 from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (EPBC) in Peterborough, Ontario Canada. Initially ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, he is now a US citizen credentialed with the US Assemblies of God. In 1995, Pastor Randy came to the beautiful city of Venice with his wife, Hope and daughter Naomi. They shared a God-birthed vision for the city of Venice. Pastor Randy has a deep passion for leading in Spirit-filled worship and the preaching of the full gospel. God has enlarged Pastor Randy’s borders through international missions work as he encourages other pastors and their congregations. Pastor Hope serves on staff as the Associate Pastor. She is also a graduate of EPBC and White Horse School of Ministry. Pastor Hope has an anointed teaching and preaching ministry. They have served together in pastoral ministry since 1986. In 2022, both Pastor Randy and Pastor Hope received their Doctor of Ministry degrees from White Horse School of Ministry.

My Father’s Lighthouse offers the opportunity for Ministers to reserve the private ground floor beachfront view 1/bedroom 1/bath studio apartment.
We are so thankful that everyone who has stayed in the room has been blessed and have said it is so very peaceful and filled with God’s Presence.
The rental of this private studio room also helps cover the operational expenses of My Father’s Lighthouse.
We are also offering the room at a lower price on a more long term basis to someone that is called to assist us in ministry business work part time.
Or the room can also be used as a winter retreat for those wanting to escape the cold winters up north.

Treasure Chest – Bible’s, Tracts & Evangelism Outreaches
We have placed a treasure chest by the sandy public road at the beginning of the driveway and we keep it filled up with tracts, Bibles, Jesus bracelets, GodAnswers.org cards, cross necklaces and more items for children and adults.
The sign below the treasure chest reads: “Free valuable treasure. More to be desired than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Take some… enjoy”
It draws people’s attention to it. And it works! Glory to God!
The public beach parking is a one minute walk from the house and is where we pass out free gift Gideon Bibles and tract cards that leads people to our new website Godanswers.org
The God Answers site has many Bible Scripture references that answer questions about life’s situations and problems.
The website also links to our YouTube Ministry page that has free music and teaching.
Most importantly there is a Salvation prayer and contact us for prayer form on the site.
My Father’s Lighthouse Renovations
When we moved into the house last year on Memorial Day Weekend of May 2021 it was in desperate need of cleaning and renovations.
In the presence of our Ministry Attorneys we made a special legal arrangement with the family we pay rent to that a certain portion of the rent goes towards the purchase price should the Lord provide for and lead us to purchase it. The legal rights are that we have first right to purchase all land and the house.
Much has been done yet there is more to do!! HalleluYAH! With your help we can make this one of the most beautiful homes inside and outside on the block!! It is a house of the Lord so it should be up to full beauty and honor for His Names sake!!
We’ve painted a lot of the inside walls fresh white and still have more to paint. Paint costs money and simply put …we need more paint.
A very special thank you to one of our family members and some ministry partners who specifically gave for the purchase of a brand new stove and refrigerator. We were able to install those before Thanksgiving of last year. Praise His Glorious Name!
There is a big need right now for a new kitchen sink ( only one side is currently working ) and more paint for kitchen and bedroom and also believing for beautiful right furniture for the worship room, dining area, office desks for 2 offices and needed bedroom furniture.
The Sabbatical studio prayer apartment room was fully renovated and furnished shortly after we moved in and is being used for God’s glory by those Jesus sends here! Praise Him!
Our desire and plan is to landscape all the yard very beautifully and paint the outside of the house. Plans are also to repair and upgrade the deck and repaint the garage floor, ceiling and walls so that it is converted into a prayer and worship gathering area. New lighting fixtures will need to be installed and a divider room built in the garage to make it ready for an extra prayer room. The garage already has central air conditioning.
Simply put we would so appreciate your generous help in your giving so we can be getting all this done soon. All of the renovations that have already been done and are planned in future have been made possible by our Holy Father and by our ministry partners obedience to Him to give generous financial contributions.

T.O.J. Flute Shop @ My Father’s Lighthouse
Gary works with his hands and has made the Tribe Of Judah Bamboo Flutes for over 10 years as a way to put professional music instruments in the hands of worshipers and as a way to also help support the ministry.
The house garage is setup perfectly for this as it has air conditioning available and a very large open space to work with wood and other projects. We are so thankful that God made the way for this! Would you like a flute to worship the Lord with for yourself or to give as a gift? Psalm 149,150.
